ayanamsha
अयनांश ayanāṃśaThe angular offset between the sidereal zodiac (fixed to the stars, used in Indian jyotisha) and the tropical zodiac (fixed to the equinox, used in the West). It now stands at roughly twenty-four degrees, and it is why an Indian chart and a Western chart give different rashi.
