Sri Vidya
The worship of Lalita Tripurasundari and the Sri Yantra: the geometry, the lineages that carried it, and the heart of the Shakta tradition.
Sri Vidya is the inner tradition of the Shakta stream, and the most closely guarded body of practice in Hinduism. Its object is Lalita Tripurasundari, and its instrument is the Sri Yantra, nine interlocking triangles whose construction is mathematically demanding and whose earliest written instructions were lost for four hundred years.
It is an initiatory tradition. The practice is not published, transmission runs through lineage, and what is publicly documented is a fraction of what is held. That constraint shapes how these pages are written: they describe what the tradition is, what the scholarship establishes, and what the published texts say, and they do not pretend to more.
