Voluntary contributions

Contributions made to support the work are voluntary and are generally non-refundable, as they are gifts toward an independent project rather than payment for a deliverable. If you contributed in error — for example a duplicate or an obviously mistaken amount — write to us within 7 days at [email protected] and we will review it in good faith.

Digital products

Digital products (such as ebooks, audio, or prints-to-download) are delivered electronically and are non-returnable by nature. If your purchase did not deliver, the file is faulty or corrupted, or you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 7 days of purchase at [email protected] with your order details and we will resolve it — by redelivering the file or, where appropriate, issuing a refund.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment processor (Razorpay) and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Payment-gateway charges. When you pay, our payment processor (Razorpay) charges a transaction fee plus 18% GST on that fee, and it does not return that fee to us when a refund is made. Because Sanatana Rahasya is an independent, reader-supported project and the knowledge here is free, any refund we issue is net of that non-refundable payment-gateway fee and the GST on it (currently roughly 2% plus 18% GST on the fee). If a digital product did not reach you or arrived faulty, we will first put it right by re-sending the file, which costs you nothing and deducts nothing.

Cancellation

One-time contributions and purchases cannot be cancelled once processed, but the support above applies. If a recurring contribution is ever offered, you will be able to cancel it at any time from the link in your receipt or by emailing us.
