पापपुरुष pāpapuruṣaThe 'man of sin' - in the tantric rite of bhuta-shuddhi, the personified body of accumulated sin visualised within the practitioner, then dried by wind, burned by fire and its ashes washed away, so that a purified body can be built for worship.
