shanta-rasa
शान्तरस śānta-rasaThe ninth rasa, the flavour of peace, whose underlying emotion is shama (tranquillity) or nirveda (dispassion) and whose end is moksha. Defended by Abhinavagupta as the deepest of the rasas and likened to the string on which the other jewels are strung; the taste into which every other flavour finally resolves.
