sthayi-bhava
स्थायिभाव sthāyi-bhāvaThe stable or durable underlying emotion that a rasa is the perfected, tasted form of. Bharata names eight (love, mirth, grief, anger, energy, fear, disgust, wonder); each is the permanent mood that lives latent in every heart and is drawn out by a performance into its corresponding flavour.
