Svarga
स्वर्ग svargaThe heavenly realms, where good karma is rewarded with delight. In Hindu cosmology svarga is real but temporary: once the store of merit is spent, the soul returns to rebirth. The Bhagavad Gita says those who reach heaven return to the mortal world when their merit is exhausted.
