Svatantrya
स्वातन्त्र्य svātantrya'Absolute freedom, autonomy.' The master concept of Kashmir Shaivism: consciousness (Shiva) depends on nothing and is bound by nothing, and by its own freedom it appears as the entire universe without ceasing to be one. The world is the play of this freedom, not a fall or an illusion.
