Vaishya
वैश्य vaiśyaThe third varna: the class of farmers, herders, artisans, and traders, responsible for producing and circulating wealth. Together with Brahmins and Kshatriyas, Vaishyas are counted among the 'twice-born' varnas in the classical scheme.
