The Seat of the Vidyās, one class of the Bhairava tantras, named for the feminine vidyā-goddesses whose cults its scriptures carry. It is the transgressive, Kāpālika-associated stratum, and both the Brahmayāmala and the Jayadrathayāmala place themselves in it in their colophons. Most of the tantras preserved in Nepal that affiliate themselves to a seat belong to this one.
