Shiva Sutras
The root scripture of non-dual Kashmir Shaivism, received by Vasugupta on Mahadeva mountain in the first half of the ninth century. Usually counted as seventy-seven aphorisms in three divisions answering to the three upayas. That count is Kshemaraja's; Bhaskara's Varttika, printed in the same Kashmir Series in 1916, divides the text into seventy-nine and calls the divisions prakashas rather than unmeshas.
