kilana
कीलन kīlanaThe pinning or locking of a mantra. In the Sanskrit sources kīlita names a defect in how a formula's syllables are arranged, and kīlana is an act a practitioner performs; the doctrine that Śiva locked every mantra in the Kali age belongs to Hindī commentary.
