tika
टीका ṭīkāA commentary on a root text, lighter than a full bhashya; the named ṭīkā tradition on the Rāmcaritmānas is collated verse by verse in Mānas-pīyūṣa. In the bazaar-press editions a tika is a Hindi commentary printed under the Devanagari of the original.
