From the base up: muladhara with four petals, svadhishthana with six, manipura with ten, anahata with twelve, vishuddha with sixteen, ajna with two, and crowning everything the thousand-petalled sahasrara .

The two ten-triangle rings map to the area between anahata and vishuddha .

…which the tradition reads as the seat of Sarasvati in the throat, the vishuddha chakra in the practitioner’s own subtle body, the Vagbhava kuta of the Panchadashi mantra.
