'Of divine birth', the classical Sanskrit category for the classes of demigods and semi-divine beings; the Amarakosha lists ten: vidyadhara, apsaras, yaksha, rakshasa, gandharva, kinnara, pisacha, guhyaka, siddha and bhuta.
