Mantrapitha
mantrapīṭhaThe Seat of the Mantras, the class of Bhairava tantras named for its masculine mantra-deities, and in the surviving literature a category carried by a single major early text, the Svacchandatantra. That text nowhere claims the seat for itself; the assignment is made for it by the Jayadrathayāmala, by Kṣemarāja, and by the colophons of its Nepalese manuscripts.
