rajas
रजस् rajasOne of the three gunas: the quality of activity, passion, energy, movement and desire. When rajas predominates, there is drive, ambition and restlessness. It is the engine of action, but the Bhagavad Gita says it binds the soul through craving and attachment to the fruits of action.
