vibhava
विभाव vibhāvaThe determinants in the rasa-sutra: the causes set on the stage, the characters, setting and situation that would, in life, stir an emotion. With the anubhavas (consequents) and vyabhicari-bhavas (transient states), the vibhavas combine to bring forth rasa.
